Para un escritor, encontrar una buena editorial que dé respuesta a sus deseos es algo tan difícil como descubrir agua en el desierto. Cuando el autor tiene el manuscrito en sus manos después de haber dedicado muchas horas a su creación, si no fuera por el importante trabajo de una editorial, no conocería la luz, en palabras de Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer hablando de los “hijos de su fantasía”, quedarían “destinados a morir… sin que de ellos quede otro rastro que el que deja un sueño de la media noche que a la mañana no puede recordarse.” Es preciso que ese trabajo original, esa historia que su creador ha querido contar, se convierta en páginas de lectura para darse a conocer a los demás.
La editorial es sin duda alguna el enlace principal que tiene un autor con el escaparate de la literatura, la única forma natural con la que puede hacer visible su obra. Y en la búsqueda de ese enlace está una parte de su éxito. Hay muchas editoriales, pero buenas editoriales que sean capaces de convertir un manuscrito en un libro bien hecho, con calidad y con la presentación atractiva que todos buscamos, no es fácil de encontrar… como el agua en el desierto. Yo tuve esa suerte como escritor y, en el distrito de Tetuán de Madrid, encontré al Grupo editorial Sial Pigmalión, que ya ha cumplido sus veinticinco años de vida con una gran apuesta literaria.
El Grupo editorial Sial Pigmalión tiene muchos atributos para hacer que su forma de trabajar resulte muy atractiva para quienes formamos parte de su nómina de escritores; personalmente destaco dos de ellos que me parecen fundamentales para quienes desean tener un buen libro expuesto en las librerías y que, además, esté dentro de un movimiento constante de promoción. El primero es la calidad del libro ya terminado, aquí se contempla no solo el material que se utilice, sino la maquetación, el diseño, la portada y contraportada, las fotografías, el interior; en definitiva: el atractivo de conjunto que ofrece un libro impreso; en este aspecto Sial Pigmalión ofrece al público unos libros de extraordinaria y magnífica presentación, particularidad que es fácilmente constatable comparándolos con otros de similares características procedentes de otras editoriales. El segundo tema es el seguimiento y las oportunidades que la editorial pone a la disposición de sus escritores para la promoción de sus libros y, en este sentido, no hay otra de su tamaño de empresa que le iguale.

Este sistema de trabajo es de un valor incalculable para los escritores de su catálogo, porque tienen la oportunidad de dar a conocer sus creaciones con mucha facilidad y por diferentes partes del mundo; obviamente, siempre hay que contar con el deseo de cada cual para sumarse a estas iniciativas.
